Potterheads in Abu Dhabi, mark your calendars. The Harry Potter Film Concert Series is returning to the capital with a double-feature night, and this time it’s Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire getting the live orchestra treatment.
Harry Potter Film Concert Series Returns To Abu Dhabi 2027
Proactiv Entertainment, in partnership with Miral, will bring Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in Concert on 5 February 2027, followed by Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in Concert on 6 February, 2027. It’s the first time both films have been presented together as a double-feature concert experience in the UAE, and it marks the series’ return to Abu Dhabi following a successful debut in 2025.
Both screenings will play out on a 40-foot screen while a live symphony orchestra performs every note of the score in real time, synced to the film.
Why These Two Films
Prisoner of Azkaban brought John Williams’ Academy Award-nominated score, widely considered one of the most emotionally resonant in the entire franchise. Goblet of Fire followed with Patrick Doyle taking over composing duties, delivering a darker, more dramatic sound that won both an International Film Music Critics Award and an ASCAP Film and Television Music Award. Pairing the two gives audiences a clear sense of how the franchise’s tone, and its music, shifted as the story darkened.

A Bigger Global Celebration
This stop in Abu Dhabi is part of a much larger celebration. Since the Harry Potter Film Concert Series first premiered with Philosopher’s Stone in 2016, more than 4.5 million fans have experienced it, and the series is set to include over 3,000 performances across more than 48 countries as part of the franchise’s 25 Years of Magic celebration.

Prices range from AED 120 for Lower Tier Silver up to AED 590 for Floor Royal seating, with a dedicated AED 120 rate for People of Determination. Given how quickly the 2025 debut reportedly sold through, this is one where booking early is probably worth it.
If you’re still waiting on your Hogwarts letter, this might be the closest Abu Dhabi gets to sending one.
