Dubai’s summer entertainment calendar just got a little more exciting, especially for anyone who still knows every word to Billie Jean. A major Michael Jackson tribute concert is heading to the city for one night only, bringing some of the late superstar’s biggest hits back to the stage. The show, called Michael Lives Forever, will take place at the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai on Saturday, July 18.

For many fans, it’s a chance to relive songs that have stayed popular across generations. The performance will be led by Rodrigo Teaser, one of the best-known Michael Jackson tribute artists on the international circuit.
His shows have toured in different countries and regularly attract large crowds. This Dubai stop is expected to feature many of Jackson’s most recognisable songs, from Beat It and Billie Jean to Smooth Criminal.
And yes, Thriller is expected to be part of the line-up too.
Fans can also expect elaborate dance routines inspired by the original performances. That’s a big part of why audiences keep coming back. It isn’t just about singing the songs. It’s about recreating the energy people remember from Michael Jackson’s live shows.
The Performer Has Been Doing This Since Childhood
Rodrigo Teaser’s connection to Michael Jackson’s music goes back a long way.
He reportedly began performing as Jackson when he was just nine years old. Since then, he has built a career around paying tribute to the King of Pop.
Also, he has worked alongside people who were directly connected to Jackson’s career, including choreographer Lavelle Smith Jr, guitarist Jennifer Batten and vocal director Kevin Dorsey.
That background has helped make the production one of the better-known tribute shows currently touring internationally.

Tickets Start At AED125
The concert is scheduled to begin at 8.30 pm at Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk.
Ticket prices start from AED125 for bronze seating and go up to AED595 for platinum tickets. Organisers have already placed tickets on sale, giving fans plenty of time to secure seats before the July performance.
For Michael Jackson fans, that’s likely to be the biggest draw.
