What Float Under The Stars Actually Involves
The experience is a ladies-only evening built around a one-hour floating sound healing session, taking place beneath the open Riyadh sky on the hotel’s rooftop pool. You’ll lie back on the water while sound and vibration therapy takes over, the kind of sensory reset that’s become a genuine fixture on Riyadh’s wellness calendar over the past year. The session itself kicks off at 8pm, but the evening is designed to unfold slowly rather than rush you straight into the water. Sessions are scheduled across four dates: Monday, September 7, Wednesday, September 9, Monday, September 14, and Wednesday, September 16.

For SAR399, guests get a lot more than just the float. Doors open at 7pm, giving you a full hour of pool access before the session even begins, along with a welcome drink on arrival. Towels and detox water are provided throughout the evening, so there’s genuinely nothing to plan for beyond showing up. Once the sound healing session wraps, there’s time to unwind further over an à la carte menu alongside fellow Kayanee Wellness Club members before the evening officially closes at 9.30pm. You’ll also walk away with a wellness goodie bag featuring gifts from Kayanee, Kimpton, and partner brands, a nice touch that turns a single evening out into something you’ll keep thinking about afterward.

If this concept sounds familiar, that’s because Kayanee Wellness Club has been quietly building out its floating wellness offerings across the capital for a while now. Earlier this summer, its Float After Dark sessions paired the same floating sound healing format with pool access and additional wellness extras, while an entirely different iteration, a candlelit indoor floating sound bath, previously played out at Mansard Spa by L’Occitane. What makes this latest edition stand out is simply the setting: taking the experience outdoors, under an actual night sky, with September’s gentler evening temperatures finally on your side. It’s a solid alternative to yet another evening spent scrolling in bed.
