Gulfood 2026 has finally begun at the Dubai World Trade Centre. And His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai toured the 31st edition of this event. Regarded as the world’s largest and most influential F&B sourcing and innovation event, this year, it is being organised at two destinations simultaneously.
Sheikh Mohammed Tours Gulfood 2026
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum took a tour of the Gulfood 2026, which records its largest expansion to date. The scale of the participation reinforces the event’s established role as a global platform, which connects producers, markets and innovators. The exhibition is running until January 30th at the Dubai World Trade Centre and the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai.
He Reviewed Latest Food Products & More
Noting a strong international participation, Sheikh Mohammed affirmed how the UAE continues to support the development of the global food sector. They do so by fostering an integrated environment, which encourages innovation and also the adoption of modern technologies. During the visit, he was accompanied by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and Helal Saeed Almarri. Reviewing the latest food products, innovative solutions, and advanced technologies, he also listened to the briefing from exhibitors on future sector trends.

India Is The Partner Country In This Edition
This time, India is participating as the partner country at the event. Featuring 161 exhibitors from 25 states and regions across India, it represents exporters, farmer-producer organisations, startups, cooperatives, state government agencies, and national institutions. There are 11 exhibitors, showcasing agricultural and food products, primarily basmati rice, as revealed by the News On Air.
