One of Dubai’s best-known coffee parties is leaving the café and heading out to sea. On Sunday, October 18, Fred’s Coffee Party hosts a superyacht rave, with DJ sets timed to the sunset and free-flowing coffee and matcha in place of cocktails. The party runs from 4pm until sunset. It is alcohol-free, as every Fred’s event is, and the pitch is simple: music, company and a cup in your hand that will not leave you groggy on Monday.

How To Get An Invite
Getting on board is the hard part. Entry is strictly by invitation, and the invitations come from Fred himself. If you are not already in the circle, your best chance is to send a direct message to @fredscoffeeparty on Instagram.
The yacht’s location has not been made public. At earlier Fred’s parties, the location reached guests only through direct messages.
Who Is Behind Fred’s
Fred’s was among the first to bring coffee raves to the UAE in early 2025, and won Best Coffee Parties at the What’s On Nightlife Awards 2025. The project is run by Shivam Grover, who has partnered with cafés and DJs and, in past collaborations, with Costa Coffee and Dubai Airport.
It is the group’s latest change of scenery. Earlier this year, Fred’s held a party at an Aquaventure aquarium, and a superyacht is the next stop.
Coffee raves have grown quickly in Dubai as a sober alternative to a night out, popular with younger crowds who want to dance without drinking. Others, such as No Filter DXB, have followed with their own café sets.
What To Expect On Board
Previous Fred’s menus have covered everything from espresso and Americano to Spanish latte and cold brew, though the yacht menu has not been detailed. With the party three days away, send that message soon if you want a chance at a spot.

Why Coffee Raves Caught On
The idea is easy to explain: keep the music and crowd of a club night, drop the alcohol and move it to the afternoon. For people who love dance music but not the hangover, it is an obvious draw.
Keeping the guest list tight is part of Fred’s identity; the team has said the parties will stay invite-only and always sober.
