Dubai has found another way to make dessert feel like an occasion. A monthly cookie buffet is bringing together more than 100 bakers and over 3,000 cookies under one roof, giving Dubai’s sweet-toothed crowd the chance to build their own cookie haul.
More Than 3,000 Cookies To Choose From
Organised by chef Sahar Parham Al Awadhi, the event brings together bakers from Dubai’s growing cookie scene at Kairos in Al Quoz. Instead of ordering one dessert and calling it a day, visitors can walk around the buffet, browse the selection and choose exactly what they want to take home. The scale of the cookie buffet is what makes it stand out. More than 100 bakers contribute to the event, with over 3,000 cookies laid out across the tables.
There is no fixed tasting menu or need to commit to one flavour. You can pick classics, try something more creative or simply choose whatever catches your eye. It is essentially a giant pick-and-mix, but with cookies.
Bring Your Sweet Tooth And Fill A Tin
The process is simple. Start at the cashier, choose your box or reusable tin and then make your way around the buffet.
Prices start at AED40 for a box containing four cookies. Reusable tins are available from AED100 to AED250, depending on the size. If you would rather try just one before committing to a bigger haul, individual cookies cost AED15 each.
Once you have made the all-important cookie choices, there is also a sticker station where you can decorate your tin and give it a personal touch.

When Is The Next Cookie Buffet?
The monthly event is held at Kairos in Al Quoz, with bakers coming together to create a sizeable spread for cookie fans.
The organisers informed multiple publications that the date for next month’s edition is still being finalised. Once confirmed, the details are expected to be announced, so cookie lovers will need to keep an eye out for the next date.
Until then, consider this your excuse to start planning your cookie strategy. With more than 3,000 cookies to choose from, arriving without a game plan could be the hardest part.
