Emirates is known for its fantastic services for passengers. And they’re doing something special for travellers this Christmas. Yes, throughout the month, you can expect some festive treats, and we’re here to tell you all about them.

Classic Christmas Treats Onboard

Throughout the month, passengers can savour festive hot chocolate in all classes and this will be from December 17th to 26th. While on December 24th and 25th, travellers will get seasonal mini treats, like dark chocolate truffles in Economy Class. While in Premium Economy and Business Class, they can expect homemade gingerbread cookies and a droolworthy raspberry Paris-Brest pastry in First Class.

What’s On The Menu For Passengers In Different Classes?

For those in First, Business, and Premium Economy Class, passengers will be treated to dishes like salmon gravadlax marinated in beetroot and orange, delicately pickled herring with potato and quail egg salad; or smoked salmon crowned with salmon roe and crab mayonnaise. Coming to the main courses, it’s going to be a classic holiday feast! Expect classic turkey with jus, chestnut and turkey bacon stuffing, truffle potato gratin, caramelised chestnuts, and roasted brussels sprouts alongside new chef-curated creations on select routes.

Yes, this includes everything from herb-crusted lamb shank with jus, braised cabbage and butternut squash, to seared venison enriched with sage butter and blackberry sauce, and duck confit glazed in cranberry jus lié. Coming to dessert, First Class passengers will receive an edible Santa Claus sculpted from fresh strawberries and cream.

In the Economy Class, passengers can dig into roasted turkey with chestnut and turkey bacon roulade and maple-roasted parsnips. This is followed by orange-soaked traditional fruit cake, or a mini mousse cake, which features one of Santa’s reindeer. It’s perfect for children!

A Feast In The Emirates Lounges

The First and Business Class lounges of the airline will transform into winter-warm culinary havens from December 15th to 31st. The feast, includes traditional roasted turkey with jus and cranberry sauce, root vegetables, Brussels sprouts, glazed chestnuts, and new potatoes, paired with festive cocktails. Travellers can also expect classic seasonal desserts! This includes everything from traditional stollen and mince pies dusted with vanilla sauce to cranberry sorbet to complete the experience, or apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. Across the lounges in countries like Australia, China, France, and Germany where Christmas dishes will be customised according to each region.

A Feast For Orthodox Christmas

For Orthodox Christmas, from December 24th to January 8th, the Dubai-based airline will offer a fantastic feast on flights to Russia, Cyprus, and Ethiopia. Travellers aboard First and Business Class menus will feature appetisers. These include Olivier salad, Sevruga caviar and lobster tail with celeriac purée, pickled herring, or smoked salmon with crab mayonnaise. It would be followed by duck confit with cranberry jus lié, herb-crusted lamb shank with jus. For dessert, one can expect white chocolate and peppermint mousse cake with cranberry compote or chocolate gingerbread cake with cranberry jelly.

In the Economy Class, travellers will enjoy starters such as Russian potato salad and Waldorf salad. This would be followed by barbecued chicken with chestnut and turkey bacon roulade or creamy beef stroganoff. One can finish off with peppermint mousse topped with popping candy or classic fruit cake doused in orange sauce.
