LPM is heading to the beach. The French-Mediterranean restaurant group will open LPM-Sur-Mer at Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai this November, and it is the brand’s first dedicated beachfront concept. The venue will bring a taste of the Côte d’Azur to the Jumeirah shoreline. It will have an indoor restaurant, a terrace, a laid-back lounge and a beach experience, plus a private pétanque court for anyone who fancies a game between courses. The name is a nod to the setting, as “sur mer” means “on the sea” in French, and LPM itself began life in Nice.
What Will You Be Eating?
LPM-Sur-Mer will serve a collection of dishes designed exclusively for beachfront dining. LPM-Sur-Mer will have a menu created with beachfront dining in mind, while staying true to the brand’s Mediterranean roots and focusing on fresh produce. Diners familiar with its DIFC restaurant may be hoping to find favourites such as the warm prawns and burrata on the new menu. However, LPM has yet to confirm whether these signature dishes will be available at the beachfront venue.
When Does LPM-Sur-Mer Open?

Another LPM Opening Is Coming First
LPM has another Dubai opening lined up before the beach club arrives. Le Café LPM, the group’s more casual spot, is designed for everyday visits, whether you are stopping by for a quick bite or meeting friends. It opens at H by Huna on 23 October. Unlike the original restaurant, it is a licensed café. LPM’s original Dubai restaurant at Gate Village in DIFC has been serving diners since 2010, so the move to the waterfront marks a new chapter for the brand in the city.

A Busy Season For Beachfront Dining
LPM-Sur-Mer joins a growing list of beach-focused restaurant openings in Dubai. Zuma is also working on a daytime concept, Zuma Beach House, which is set to open in Jumeirah 1 in 2027. It will sit on a double-front beach plot overlooking the Port de La Mer marina.
