Vision Hospitality, the group behind the much-loved McGettigan’s chain, has announced a brand-new McGettigan’s venue opening inside Bla Bla by McGettigan’s at The Beach, JBR, and this one comes with front-row views of the Arabian Gulf and Ain Dubai.

This isn’t a random new opening; it’s the next step after Vision Hospitality acquired Bla Bla Dubai back in March 2026. Bla Bla had already built a serious reputation as a day-to-night destination, pulling in over two million guests since launching in January 2021 with its mix of beach club, dining, nightlife and live entertainment. Since the acquisition, the venue’s been rebranded as Bla Bla by McGettigan’s, and this new pub is where the McGettigan’s identity really takes centre stage.
Spanning 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, the new venue is being built to transition naturally from relaxed daytime hangouts into a livelier evening scene, think live music, sports on screen, and the kind of Irish hospitality McGettigan’s has built its name on over the past fifteen years.

What To Actually Expect When It Opens
Giant LED screens are going to anchor the sports side of things, built for everything from major international tournaments to weekly must-watch fixtures, so if you’ve ever fought for a good seat during a big match at McGettigan’s JBR or Dubai Marina, this new spot is clearly designed to fix that problem with scale. On the food front, expect a refreshed menu created specifically for this location, contemporary takes on classic pub dishes, plus new additions designed to suit the beachfront setting rather than just recycling the standard McGettigan’s menu.

When Can You Actually Visit
The venue is set to open in early Q4 2026, and it builds on Bla Bla by McGettigan’s track record for big sporting moments. The space previously hosted the Coca-Cola FIFA World Cup Fan Zone, drawing football fans in for a stadium-style watch-party atmosphere. Exact opening dates, the full menu, and entertainment programming are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, so this is one to keep an eye on if beachfront pub nights are your thing.
It’s also part of a bigger expansion push. Vision Hospitality is separately gearing up to launch a multi-concept dining and entertainment destination at Reem Mall in Abu Dhabi later this year.
