Sharjah’s food scene keeps growing, and now Isabella’s Italian Street Kitchen has joined the mix at Aljada. The new restaurant officially opened this May and comes from Blue Coral Concepts, the same group behind Isabella Cucina Italiana at Vida Emirates Hills in Dubai.
A New Italian Spot Has Opened In Aljada And It’s All About Easy, Comfort Food
Instead of feeling like one of those “special occasion only” restaurants, Isabella’s Street Kitchen wants to be more casual. Somewhere people can walk into after work, grab pasta with friends or sit over pizza for way longer than planned. And honestly, that seems to be the whole point.
The Restaurant Feels More Relaxed Than Flashy
The interiors lean into warm colours and slightly rustic details rather than anything overly polished. There’s terracotta, burgundy tones, olive green seating and lots of wood textures around the space.
An open kitchen sits right in the middle, too. So guests can actually see pizzas going into the oven and dishes coming together while they wait.
According to details shared in the press release, one of the biggest highlights inside the restaurant is the copper-covered wood-fired pizza oven. That’s where the restaurant’s New York-style thin-crust pizzas are made using double-zero flour.
The whole place sounds designed to feel familiar quickly, even if you’re visiting for the first time.
The Menu Focuses On Comfort Food
There’s no complicated fine dining angle happening here. The menu focuses on classic Italian dishes with a few Mediterranean touches added in.
Pasta plays a big role, especially dishes meant for sharing around the table. For many people, that’s probably what makes Italian food work in the first place. It feels social without trying too hard.
Some standout dishes include spicy rigatoni rosa, chicken parmigiana and a Diavolo pizza topped with spicy pepperoni and hot honey.
There’s also an Isabella steak Tagliata served with roasted tomatoes and crispy potatoes for people wanting something heavier.
According to a press release, the restaurant’s chef, Salvador Estanques, described the menu as simple, honest food built around good ingredients and flavours that bring people together.

The Beverage Menu Leans Heavily Into Italian Café Culture
The beverage side follows the same easygoing approach.
There are alcohol-free spritz drinks, citrus-based coolers and coffee options meant to work from lunch all the way into late evening. Drinks like La Rosa Di Isabella mix strawberry, rose and vanilla, while Bergamot Bay combines citrus and elderflower flavours.
As Aljada keeps expanding with new cafés and restaurants, Isabella’s Street Kitchen seems to be trying for consistency more than hype.
