Kayzo Jeddah is set to enter the city’s expanding dining scene with the contemporary Japanese concept known for its relaxed approach to food and shared dining. The brand blends Japanese street-food inspiration with an East-meets-West style.

What Is Kayzo?

Kayzo was created as a more casual dining concept connected to the Myazu family of restaurants. Its menu takes inspiration from Japanese street-food artisans, with dishes designed to be shared around the table.

The restaurant describes its style as contemporary casual cuisine, making it less formal than traditional fine dining while still keeping a polished feel.

The name Kayzo is linked to Japanese words associated with volcano and ocean, reflecting the concept’s broader East-meets-West identity.

Kayzo Is Already Famous In Saudi Arabia

The brand has established itself in Riyadh, where its Japanese-inspired menu and approachable setting have earned attention from Saudi Arabia’s dining community.

Kayzo was also included in the Michelin Guide Saudi Arabia’s Bib Gourmand selection, recognising restaurants that offer good food at accessible prices.

Chef Rayan Alayesh has played a key role in developing Kayzo’s culinary direction. He previously worked with Myazu and helped shape Kayzo as a contemporary Japanese concept.
