Air India Group Announces 22 Flights For March 27th
Air India and Air India Express will operate 22 combined flights from the Gulf region on March 27th, which is today. Boosting the connectivity, the airline will run scheduled flights. This will be between India and Jeddah, and two services each from Delhi and Mumbai, and two flights between Mumbai and Riyadh. Air India Express also announced that it would be operating four flights from Muscat and Riyadh, two from Delhi and Mumbai to Muscat, and two from Bengaluru and Kozhikode to Riyadh. Not only this, but the airlines will also operate eight non-scheduled flights to the UAE.
Gulf Air Introduces Limited Repatriation Flights
Gulf Air also announced that it has introduced some repatriations to key cities in the Indian subcontinent. Offering a route for passengers who are travelling to and from Bahrain, the flights will operate via King Fahd International Airport, which is in Dammam. This move comes at a time when many passengers are facing cancellations and uncertainty.
Oman Air And SalamAir Extend Flight Suspension
Oman Air has extended its temporary suspension of flights to several key regional and international destinations. Due to the ongoing operational disruptions and regional tensions, the services remain cancelled until April 15th. These are to destinations like Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait, Copenhagen, Baghdad, and Khasab Airport. And SalamAir has also announced the suspension of flights to and from Iraq, Lebanon, Iran, Kuwait, Sharjah, and Doha.
Emirates Issues Travel Advisory
Emirates, which is a Dubai-based airline as a travel advisory until March 27th, asking people to check the flight status before travelling to the airport. Due to the adverse weather conditions, the flights may expect some delays, so people have been asked to be up to date with their flight schedules by checking the official channels. Not to mention, they asked the passengers to arrive at least two hours before their scheduled departure.
