Etihad Airways recently announced that it would be launching flights to the Red Sea Coast of Saudi Arabia. Yes, it will begin these flights on October 4th, 2026. As a result, a year-round leisure destination would be added to its network, which would be via the Red Sea International Airport. For those who are wondering, this is in the Tabuk Province.

From 4 October 2026, Etihad will fly year-round to Red Sea International Airport, starting with one flight a week and rising to two a week from 25 October.

Etihad Airways has revealed that it will soon be flying its guests to the Red Sea all year round. This will be available through a single connection in Abu Dhabi, and it will include flights from across the Gulf and also the Indian subcontinent. This will be the sixth destination in Saudi Arabia on the airline’s network. The airline already services flights to Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, Medina, and Al Qassim.
Flights between the two destinations are going to begin on October 4th, 2026. It will be serviced by weekly flights, which will then be increased to twice a week from October 25th onwards.

The Airline Has Launched Several Other Flights
Just recently, it also launched its services to Damascus. It announced that the airline would operate four weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Damascus. These flights would be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The launch of this route comes due to growing demand from the community that resides in the UAE from Syria.
It is the latest addition to the airline’s rapidly growing global network. Not to mention, it forms a part of the airline’s strategy of strengthening its presence in important markets across the globe. Additionally, the airline also added more flights on the Abu Dhabi-Kabul route from July 15th onwards. It added a second daily service in each direction due to exceeding demand.
So, with Etihad Airways adding new destinations on its ever-expanding network and more flights on networks that have high demand, it is truly ensuring that guests have a great flying experience.
