As announced by Emirates 24|7, the new service would allow citizens and residents who hold a valid UAE driving license to obtain an international driving license in just five minutes. The GDRFA Dubai on X mentions that this service is available at the Customer Happiness Centre. It is in the Terminal 3 Arrivals area. It should be noted that this operates 24 hours a day and is part of the efforts that aim to streamline travel procedures. Not to mention, it also aims to offer key services at convenient locations.
What Documents Do You Need?
In order to obtain this license, customers will have to present their Emirates ID, a valid UAE driving license, a personal photograph, and a copy of their passport. As mentioned in the report, it is supported by digital integration between all the participating entities.
