Etihad Rail services from Dubai’s Al Yalayis Station have finally launched. This new service connects people from Abu Dhabi to Dubai. However, when you check the website, you will see that there is also an option to select Al Dhaid, which is a station coming up in Sharjah. The Al Dhaid railway station in Sharjah’s central region will connect the communities across the UAE once it becomes functional. With the tickets now live, the new service is bound to make life easier for the people. It is worth mentioning that the new service would offer journey routes from Abu Dhabi and Fujairah to Al Dhaid in Sharjah.
Etihad Rail Tickets Available For Sharjah
Coming to the tickets, they start at AED19 for passengers who are travelling from Al Dhaid to Fujairah. The base fare mentioned here is for the Comfort Class, while for the Premium Class, it is AED49. The morning trains depart at 9:41 AM from Al Dhaid and arrive in Fujairah at 6:30 AM. The evening trains depart at 7:51 PM from Sharjah and arrive in Fujairah at 8:16 PM. It should be noted that this is a 25-minute train journey.
Talking about the Al Dhaid station in Sharjah, passengers will be able to travel to and from the station with the help of public buses, taxis and ride-hailing services. As per the website, three bus routes serve the station at the moment. These include ER1: Al Madam Bus Station, ER2: Al Sajaa Bus Station, and ER3: Al Jubail Bus Station.
