There has been a big improvement in flying between the UAE and India. Etihad Airways has started using its Airbus A321LR on important routes to Mumbai and New Delhi, raising the standard for high-end travel. The plane will fly both routes twice a day, in addition to the wide-body flights that are already available. What happened? All four daily flights to each city now offer Business seats that are lie-flat and a better experience on board.

Etihad Adds Premium Cabin Boost Routes To India

Every first-class flight has lie-flat seats

All premium passengers on these routes can now sit in lie-flat seats with direct access to the aisle. This level of comfort isn’t common on narrow-body planes. Etihad’s move means no compromise, whether you’re on a big jet or the new A321LR. People who travel for business will notice the difference on flights that leave late at night or early in the morning. And yes, First Class is included in the deal.

The Airbus A321LR Experience Inside

The Airbus A321LR is not your average single-aisle plane. It has two private First Suites with sliding doors. You have room to sit, eat, or stretch out completely. There’s even room for a guest, which is unusual for planes this size.

There are 14 lie-flat seats in Business Class, all of which face the window and have direct access to the aisle. It’s quiet, private, and made for comfort on long trips. The economy doesn’t miss out either. There are 144 seats, each with a 4K touchscreen, and passengers can watch a wide range of films, from Bollywood hits to Hollywood blockbusters.

Ground Experience Is Getting Better Too

The push for premium doesn’t stop at the cabin door. First and Business Deluxe passengers can expect chauffeur services that will take them from their door to the airport. First Class travellers can also use the Etihad Concierge, a personal assistant who helps them plan their whole trip.

According to Economic Airlines, airlines in the area are adding more premium options on popular routes like India. Etihad’s latest move shows that this is happening.

Why This Is Important For Frequent Flyers

Gulf carriers have some of the busiest routes to and from India. Etihad is not only adding capacity with the A321LR, but it is also making things more consistent. Passengers don’t have to check the types of planes anymore to know what kind of experience they’ll have. For people who fly a lot, it means one thing: more comfort every time.
