Yes, the airline has finally rolled out City Check-in service that allows people to drop off their bags 24 to 4 hours before the flight! Here’s all you need to know about this new service that becomes available in Abu Dhabi from Monday, August 11.

IndiGo To Offer City Check-In Service At Zayed International Airport

Come August 11, and passengers of IndiGo will be able to opt for the City Check-in service. This is available to the passengers who are flying from Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi. As revealed in a report by the Gulf News, passengers who are flying with IndiGo will be able to make use of the service, which will allow them to check in their luggage 24 to 4 hours before the flight. In fact, to mark the occasion, flyers of the airline will be given complimentary check-in service on the inauguration day, which is August 11.

Check-In Your Luggage 24 Hours In Advance!

The best part about this service, as revealed in the report, is the fact that it allows passengers to drop their bags 24 hours before departure. The service will be enabled by Morafiq. In case you’re wondering, it is a subsidiary of Off Airport Check In Solutions. With the new flexibility available, it will also reduce the congestion at the airport. As a result, flyers will be able to enjoy a more relaxed pre-flight experience. However, it’s not the first airline to offer this service. Other airlines like Air Arabia, Egypt Air, and Etihad Airways already offer this service.

Where Is This Service Available?

As it happens, the service won’t just be limited to the Zayed International Airport. From September 1 onwards, the self-check-in will be available in Al Ain as well. Not to mention, all four city check-in locations will have space for parking, and these are in the following addresses:

• Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal – 1, Ground Floor
• Yas Mall City Check-In, Below Peppermill Restaurant
• Mussafah: Al Arzaq Street, Mussafah Shabia-11
• Morafiq City Check-in, Inside LuLu Hypermarket, Kuwaitat
