The GDRFA and DHA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. They signed this on Tuesday, June 2nd, with the aim of creating an integrated treatment and recovery experience. As revealed by the Gulf News, this is for international patients and would be from the moment of applying for the medical visa to post-treatment follow-up care. Through this agreement, the aim is to strengthen links between the residency visa and healthcare services. Not to mention, it would further enhance Dubai’s position as the leading global destination for quality healthcare.
Aims To Simplify Medical Visa Procedures
With the signing of this agreement, both authorities will work to simplify the medical visa procedures. Not to mention, they aim to create a smoother patient journey that would begin before the visitor even arrives in Dubai. Moreover, it will continue throughout the treatment and the recovery process. It should be noted that the partnership will support Dubai’s health tourism sector, which is growing.

A More Efficient Coordination Of Services
