Passengers aboard private carrier Ur Airlines, which is an Iraqi airline, endured moments of panic. This panic arose after a technical malfunction occurred. As a result, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Baghdad. Here’s what happened!
Ur Airlines Endures Moment Of Panic
As revealed in a report by the Gulf News, the Iraqi airliner, Ur Airlines, was supposed to fly from Najaf to Beirut. However, it suffered a pressurisation system failure according to Al Khaleej, an Arabic daily. As a result, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Baghdad. The flight then landed safely at Baghdad International Airport, and no injuries were reported.
Now, a viral video, as posted by Al Khaleej, showed passengers in a state of panic with oxygen masks dropping from the overhead compartment. At this point, it’s worth mentioning that Iraqi Airways, which is the national carrier, had instantly distanced itself from the incident. It mentioned how the reports, which claimed that it was an aircraft from the airways, were false, and it belonged to another carrier.
