Kuwait Airways recently announced that it has added 11 new destinations for its summer 2026 season. As revealed in a report of the Gulf News, this includes destinations of Alexandria, Zurich, Mykonos, Malaga, Sharm El Sheikh, Sarajevo, Vienna, Salalah, Antalya, Trabzon, and Bodrum. Here’s all you need to know about this development, which basically aims to expand the network of the national carrier of Kuwait.
Kuwait Airways To Add 11 New Destinations
The national carrier of Kuwait has made this move to expand its network and meet the seasonal demand. Additionally, the airline also announced that a 15% discount will be available on all economy flights to and from Kuwait. This offer is available through the website, mobile app, call centre, and sales officers. However, it excludes codeshare services. It should be noted that Kuwait Airways will be open from January 22nd to February 15th. However, travel must be between January 25th and April 30th.
Dates Of Launch For Summer 2026
It was further mentioned in the report that the new routes will be rolled out from June 9th onwards. This would start with Alexandria. The full schedule for the different routes that will begin soon is as follows:
- Sharm El Sheikh and Salalah on June 10th
- Zurich on June 12th
- Mykonos on June 14th
- Antalya on June 15th
- Trabzon, Sarajevo and Vienna on June 16th
- Bodrum on June 17th

The Airline Earlier Announced Launch Of New International Routes
Those who are wondering, Kuwait Airways recently announced how it would be launching five new international routes. This already includes Mykonos. And the new international routes also included Beijing, the Maldives, and Phuket. Through the new routes, the aim is to improve the connectivity between Gulf and different parts of Asia. With over 60 destinations worldwide, being serviced by the airline, Kuwait International Airport will be connected to some of the major cities across several continents. However, the launch date for other cities will be confirmed closer to the middle of 2026.
