Omani Citizens Can Travel To Botswana Visa-Free
Omani nationals will now be able to travel to Botswana without a visa for up to 90 days. This was confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Sultanate, as revealed by the Gulf News. The visa exemption applies to holders of all types of Omani passports. As a result, travellers will be able to remain in Botswana for a maximum of up to 90 days. However, the ministry in Botswana further confirmed Oman was not among the countries whose nationals required a visa for travelling to the Southern African country.
Citizens Have Been Advised To Ensure Their Passports Are Valid
However, the travellers have been advised to have health insurance, which covers the full duration of their stay. Not to mention, citizens who are planning to travel to the country have been advised to ensure that their passports are valid for at least six months from the date of their entry. Moreover, they must contain at least three blank pages. The ministry has also asked citizens to ensure that they meet the entry requirements before travel in order to avoid any difficulties upon their arrival.
