Recently, Oman and Belarus signed a mutual visa exemption. This was signed on Monday, October 6th, and it was a part of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq’s official visit to Minsk. As reported by ONA, the signing ceremony was also attended by Sultan Haitham and how Omani citizens can benefit from the mutual visa exemption.
Oman And Belarus Sign Mutual Visa Exemption
As revealed in a report by the Gulf News, Oman and Belarus have signed a mutual visa agreement. They also signed a series of cooperation documents, which included a roadmap that would be for the development of bilateral relations. Additionally, a Memorandum of Cooperation was also included for the construction of a pulp and paperboard mill in Belarus.
Visa-Free Entry For Citizens
So, under the new agreement, citizens of both nations who hold a passport that is valid for at least six months will be exempt from visa requirements for entry, exit, and transit. However, their stay must not exceed 30 consecutive days per visit or 90 days within a calendar year. This development comes after Oman and the Philippines also signed a visa waiver quite recently.
