Thanksgiving is a holiday that’s celebrated widely across the West. Marking the start of the holiday season, it’s also the time when people are travelling to their home countries from the UAE to celebrate the festive spirit. Emirates, while servicing those who are travelling this holiday season, is doing something special. Yes, they are offering Thanksgiving food, drinks, and entertainment on flights to and from Dubai and the USA.
Thanksgiving Feast Aboard Emirates
Now available 35,000 feet in the air, Emirates is serving traditional festive fare, not just on flights but also at Emirates Lounges in Dubai, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Yes, the Thanksgiving food, drinks, and entertainment are available on flights to and from Dubai and the USA until November 30th.
Coming to the Thanksgiving breakfast, you will get to savour cinnamon pancakes served with seasonal apple and cranberry compote, and whipped ricotta pumpkin cream. This would be served in the First, Business, and Premium Economy classes. It would be complimentary blueberry muffins and aromatic cinnamon rolls in Business Class for a sumptuous fare.
A Feast For The First Class
For First Class dining, flights between Dubai and the USA, customers will be able to relish their range of classic gourmet dishes. This includes creamy celeriac and pear soup with leek julienne, sweet potato soup with poached lobster and chives. There’s also appetisers of smoked salmon with chives, cucumber, pea shoots and horseradish sauce. For seafood platter appetiser with poached prawn, smoked salmon, salmon gravadlax, and crab cocktail, alongside caviar, horseradish and wakame.
Coming to the main course, like turkey leg roulade with roasted butternut, mashed potatoes with carrot, buttered brussels sprouts, roasted pecans, a dash of cranberry jus lié and thyme, and garlic potatoes will be served. The other options feature lemon, zaatar and buttermilk roasted turkey with celeriac apple purée, maple-roasted caraway pumpkin and beetroot, kale with cranberries, pecan and cornbread stuffing. Finally, for dessert, the customers in this class will be able to sample their seasonal flavours. This includes warm apple fritters with mascarpone cream and cinnamon sugar, zesty key lime tart served with raspberry coulis, hot toffee apple and pecan cake topped with salted caramel sauce and marshmallows, or chocolate marble cheesecake served along with berry compote and vanilla curd.
A Stellar Selection For Business Class

Coming to the Business Class, customers will get to relish sweet potato soup, creamy celeriac and pear soup, salmon gravadlax with ginger and candied orange, carrot coulis, blackberries and Beluga caviar, caper berries, red sorrel and baby spinach. The main course will include lemon zaatar and buttermilk roasted turkey with celeriac apple puree, maple-roasted caraway pumpkin and beetroot, kale with cranberries, pecan and cornbread stuffing, or turkey roulade with all the trimmings. Desserts in this class include key lime tart or cheesecake with strawberry basil confit.

Menu For Premium Economy And Economy Class
For Premium Economy customers, they will be able to relish more dishes, like festive salad of grilled artichoke antipasti, butternut squash, broad beans and kale. This comes along with sunflower seeds and dried cranberries, or shrimp cocktail with fennel salad.
Customers will get to feast on tender turkey served with cranberry jus lie, blanched broccolini, paprika potato wedges, mashed sweet potato, and honey-glazed pumpkin with crushed pecans. Finally, the dessert would include a key lime tart dashed with Chantilly cream and raspberry. The other option is a smooth berry cheesecake and red berry coulis.
For Economy Class, customers will be able to relish a refreshing welcome, festive drink of orange, pomegranate, apple and cinnamon. Travellers from the US will also get to enjoy quinoa salad with kale, butternut squash and crushed pecans to start, or classic Waldorf salad. It’s followed by a festive roasted chicken with cranberry jus lie, chestnut roulade with turkey bacon, peas, maple baked parsnips, carrot mash, and potato wedges. Dessert includes a decadent salted caramel milk cake or sticky toffee pudding. It would be followed by a warm Snickerdoodle cookie.
What About The Emirates Lounge?
Coming to the Emirates Lounge, travellers will get to experience authentic dishes, which include roasted mushroom bisque with crème fraiche and truffles. This would be followed by a sumptuous main course of cider-brined turkey breast with roasted apples and fresh herbs, onion, traditional gravy, brioche stuffing with apricots, dates, fresh cranberry compote, and kale, creamy mashed potatoes with butter and chives, as well as brussels sprouts with pepitas and sunflower seeds.
So, it’s a feast waiting for travellers, not just onboard, but even at the select lounges. Make sure to relish them all as you travel to meet your beloved friends and families.
