UAE Golden Visa Holders, The Return Document Explained

If a Golden Visa holder loses or damages their passport overseas, MoFA can issue an emergency Return Document. It’s valid for a single journey and must be used within seven days of issuance, essentially your fast track back to the UAE without getting stuck in a foreign bureaucracy loop. Alongside this, Golden Visa holders have access to a dedicated 24-hour hotline for consular enquiries and emergency assistance while travelling.
MoFA’s Pre-Trip Checklist
Beyond emergencies, MoFA’s advisory doubles as a solid pre-departure checklist for anyone travelling this summer. Confirm outbound and return flight bookings, and make sure passports are valid for at least six months. Check the visa requirements for each traveller in your party and arrange full international health insurance for the duration of the trip.
