And according to the latest analysis by the AirAdvisor, it has analysed 24 airports worldwide. Yes, with the help of their first-ever love connection score, they have identified an airport where one can create the strongest and weakest conditions for spontaneous human connection.

Airports Ranked According To Love Connection Score

In the first-ever Love Connection Score by AirAdvisor, airports have been ranked on the basis of a score from 0 to 10. Using a weighted model, it combines passenger traffic with several indicators. These indicators include traveller overlap, dwell time, and social environment. Researcher at AirAdvisor ranked the top airports by analysing how long travellers stay in the same areas, how often they can cross paths naturally and of course, on the basis of availability of social spaces and overall passenger value volume.

For this analysis, an international diverse travel pool was also taken into account, alongwith the passenger mood and comfort level. And according to their ranking, Istanbul Airport has taken the top spot with a score of 8.3 out of 10. Just behind is Dubai International Airport with a score of 7.85, taking the spot at number three. So, here’s a look at the top 10 airports around the world, where you might find a connection!

2. Seoul ICN (South Korea) – 8/10
3. London LHR (United Kingdom) – 7.85/10 and Dubai DXB (UAE) – 7.85/10

How Can One Find Connection?

How can one find social connections at an airport? Well, there are many ways one can choose, such as longer layovers instead of a tight schedule, spending time in social zones instead of isolated gates, staying socially available is another way, sitting in a shared seating space and of course, using the airport to one’s advantage.

However, the report also mentioned the airports where one cannot find any social connections. These included Cancun International Airport, which is in Mexico, Sydney Airport in Australia, and Ngurah Rai International Airport in Indonesia.
