It’s shaping up to be one of the biggest pop culture weekends that the capital has ever hosted. From April 24 to 26, fans will once again flood the city for three days of cosplay, comics, gaming, anime, and celebrity moments.

The first guest announcement already came about Christopher Judge, best known as the booming voice behind Kratos in God of War, leading the 2026 lineup. According to a report by Platinumlist, this is only the opening move. More Hollywood names are expected to follow, and if we go back comparing the past years, the announcements will drop fast and loud.
Abu Dhabi Knows How To Do Comic Con
The Abu Dhabi edition first launched in 2022. Last year’s show pulled serious star power, including Andrew Garfield, Charlie Cox from Daredevil, and Grant Gustin of The Flash fame. All signs point to another starry takeover of the ADNEC Centre. The venue expects tens of thousands of fans to attend the event.
Artists, Creators And Hands-On Chaos
Artist Alley will be buzzing, led by legends like Alan Quah, whose portfolio includes more than 400 comic covers.
Expect custom art, indie merch, jewellery, and 3D-printed finds. The Creative Academy will enter with workshops covering manga drawing, prop building, and even lightsaber crafting.
Gaming Battles, Anime Zones And Fan Debates
For gamers, immersive zones from Bandai Namco and e-sports showdowns keep the energy high.
Anime fans get dedicated pavilions stacked with merch. Cine Club sessions break down storylines from Marvel, DC, and Star Wars. Outside, live shows, quizzes, and street food turn the venue into a full-scale festival.

Cosplay Glory And Ticket Details
Cosplay registrations are officially open, and the slot might fill out before you blink. The winner heads to Japan to represent the UAE at the World Cosplay Summit. Early bird tickets are gone, but standard passes now cost AED160. A three-day pass is AED 390, and VIP packages start at AED 1,300 and go up to AED2,730.
