It’s a race where you’ll scale the heights rather than running straight kilometres on flat tracks. Level 7 is about making you sweat, climb and feel like a champion post the race. For the unknown, vertical race is all about climbing the stairs instead of running across the general flat and long tracks. Here’s what New Balance and Jumeirah Johns Running Club have unveiled for all the race enthusiasts. Expect running (climbing in this case), a 1km race from the bottom of the car park to the 7th floor in heats of 25. Sounds challenging? We thought the same. It’s not your average race, runners. But you don’t need to be an expert to reach the finals. Every interested participant would be given multiple chances to win, which is a move inspired by New Balance’s “Run Your Way” ethos. Trust us, hearing the prizes, you’ll be convinced to take up the challenge.

Your sweat and energy will definitely lead you to feeling conquered, and also to some really cool prizes. With competitive awards for the top male and female winners, the race is set to get more blazing for sure. The winner will receive the Doha Marathon 2026 race package that comes with race bibs, flight tickets and accommodation arranged by New Balance.
