Only In Dubai! Indian Expat Stunned By Seamless Food Delivery By Robot In Dubai

People living in Dubai, they know the city is already quite futuristic. And the authorities keep introducing new things to ensure the city is ahead of its time. Keeping up with this idea, the latest talk of the town happens to be robots making deliveries. Although it’s been there for a while, a recent video by an Indian expat, experiencing this first-hand, has gone viral on Instagram. And we’re here to tell you about this.

Indian Expat Stunned By Robot Delivery

Recently, an Indian expat, by the name of @thyharish on Instagram, posted about his delivery experience. He mentioned how he ordered something from noon, and the app showed that it was being delivered by a robot, which was actually a rover. As the anticipated delivery took place, he tapped on his app, which opened the storage in the rover. And once he had collected the delivery, he just confirmed on the app, and the rover closed the trunk and went on its way.

A Strategic Partnership For Deploying Autonomous Delivery Robots

This development comes after Yango Group and noon formed a strategic partnership. This was done for deploying autonomous delivery robots across the GCC. Yango Autonomy had already been delivering noon Minutes orders in the Sobha Hartland community since December 2025, and this is also where the video is from, as informed by the creator in comments.

For delivery, customers will be able to select the robot at checkout. It will then be able to track its journey in real time. The robots can navigate pavements independently, and it avoids obstacles while giving way to pedestrians.
