Qatar Airways F1 stopover packages are giving Formula 1 fans another way to turn a Doha transit into a full Grand Prix getaway. Qatar Airways Holidays has launched new stopover packages that combine three-day race access with flights and hotel accommodation for the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS QATAR GRAND PRIX 2026. The new packages are designed for travellers passing through Hamad International Airport who want to extend their journey and experience the race weekend at Lusail International Circuit.

Turn Your Doha Stopover Into A Grand Prix Trip

For the first time, Qatar Airways Holidays is integrating three-day Formula 1 race tickets into its Qatar Stopover packages. The offering means travellers can combine their flights and hotel stay with access to the Qatar Grand Prix rather than booking the race experience separately.

The ticket included in the new package is a three-day T16 Grandstand ticket. The grandstand is positioned around the final sector of the Lusail International Circuit, giving fans views of one of the circuit’s exciting sections. It is an option aimed at travellers who may already be flying through Doha and want to add something memorable to their journey.

Packages Come In Four Categories

Travellers can choose between four Qatar Stopover package categories:

  • Standard
  • Premium
  • Luxury
  • Premium Beach

The existing stopover benefits remain part of the offering, including flexible 24-hour hotel check-in and check-out.

Travellers can also customise their stay with additional experiences. These include city tours, beach club access, and other destination experiences across Qatar. So, rather than spending the entire trip around the circuit, visitors can use the stopover to explore Doha’s food scene, cultural attractions, beaches, and hospitality offerings too.

When Can You Book?

The Formula 1-inclusive stopover packages are linked to the Qatar Grand Prix weekend. To access the new offering, travellers need to select search dates between November 27 and 29, 2026.

Once flights and the preferred hotel have been selected, the three-day race ticket will be included in the package, subject to availability and the applicable terms and conditions. The packages are expected to become available for booking through Qatar Airways Holidays later in August.

Formula 1 Fans Can Earn Avios Too

There is another perk for Qatar Airways Privilege Club members. Eligible bookings allow members to collect Avios and Qpoints. Travellers can also use Cash + Avios when booking qualifying packages. That gives frequent flyers another reason to consider combining their race trip with the airline’s stopover programme.

Qatar Airways is the Global Partner and Official Airline of Formula 1, and the new packages build on its existing Formula 1 travel offerings.

A Race Weekend With A Doha Stopover

The new packages effectively combine three things into one holiday: getting to Doha, having somewhere to stay and attending the Grand Prix.

For international travellers, that could make the Qatar race weekend easier to plan, particularly for those already travelling through the airline’s extensive network. And once the race is over, there is plenty beyond Lusail International Circuit to explore.

From Doha’s museums and cultural attractions to its restaurants, beaches and luxury hotels, the stopover programme lets visitors turn a race weekend into a broader Qatar break. For fans planning their November travel, this means the journey to the Grand Prix can now be part of the experience rather than simply a way of getting to the circuit.
