The Kryptonite Collider is the latest addition to the park that has finally been opened to the public. The thrilling ride marks the first permanent new attraction in the park since its opening in 2018. It is set within the Metropolis Land of the park, and the ride puts guests directly inside one of the most notorious villain story lines of the DC world. Yes, riders get to be a part of Luthor’s latest schemes.
What’s The Storyline Behind The Ride?
Talking about the story behind the ride, this experience is built around the Everyman Project of Lex Luthor. He basically attempts to give ordinary people superhuman abilities by harnessing kryptonite. For those who are living under a rock, this is a rare mineral that happens to be the only weakness of Superman.
So the ride itself begins inside a fully detailed recreation of LexCorp’s laboratory. Here they will be briefed about the project and asked to volunteer to experiment before taking their seats. Once the ride begins, this 32-seat centrifuge would power up around them. It would combine fast spinning motions along with synchronised lighting and onboard audio. All of this has been designed in such a way that it stimulates the sensation of suddenly gaining extraordinary powers.

More Details About The Ride
However, before you make plans to visit the park for this new ride, you must know that guests must be at least 105 cm tall and they must be accompanied by an adult. Additionally, they must be 120 cm tall in order to ride unaccompanied; the maximum weight limit is 136 KG. Finally, the ride is included with standard park admission, and there is no separate charge for experiencing this.
This ride launch comes at the start of DC Super Season at Warner Bros. World Yas Island, which will be running until August 30th. So with the park that has been named as the Best Theme Park In The World at the 2026 Liseberg Applause Award, this is truly a fantastic moment, and an addition that you wouldn’t want to miss.
