In a strong move to support the hospitality industry, Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi has directed the launch of a major tourism incentives package aimed at helping businesses in Ajman stay competitive while attracting fresh investment into the emirate. The tourism package, unveiled by the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, includes a range of financial assistance measures and incentives to support tourism operations, making it easier for businesses to manage costs and boost future growth in the sector
Ajman Announces Big Tourism Package With Fee Waivers And Investor Incentives
The latest package has several advantages for the tourism sector. One of the biggest measures includes the deferral of tourism fee payments for six months starting from March 1, 2026. Operators renewing licences between these dates will also be exempt from late payment penalties.
The department has also waived fees for event permits and licence renewals. These exemptions will help businesses with the surge in costs and fewer customers.
A flexible payment plan helps businesses pay their bills without interest, which is a standout feature. This should help small businesses struggling with cash flow without putting them into debt, as per Gulf Today.
Free Museum Entry For Visitors
Ajman is also focusing on the experiences of visitors. Museum entry fees across the emirate will stay free until the end of 2026. This could boost cultural tourism and bring more people to heritage sites.
Tourism businesses will also be exempt from fees for exhibitions and marketing workshops organised by the department. This allows them an opportunity to promote without incurring additional costs.

A Strategic Push For Tourism Growth
Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media told the package will seek to boost service quality, hotel occupancy, length of stay and tourists’ spending habits in the emirate.
For his part, Mahmood Khaleel Al Hashmi, Director-General of the department, said tourism is a key sector for Ajman’s economy. He said investing in tourism establishments today is investing in the emirate’s future.
