You might have heard stories about monkeys attacking people for food or destroying plants or even stealing boxes from rooms. But have you ever heard about any incident when a monkey literally stole a bag full of cash? Well, something like this actually happened recently in Uttar Pradesh. A monkey snatched a bag from a man containing loads of money and climbed straight to a tree.

This Monkey Enjoyed A Brief Time Of Being Rich!

It looked like the animal was looking for some food when it spotted a man carrying a bag full of something. The monkey snatched the bag from a bike and jumped straight onto a tree. Little did he know that the bag was nothing less than a treasure as it had about ₹1 lakh inside. Such a great moment for a monkey to feel like being on top of the world, right? This incident happened in UP’s Rampur on Tuesday.

The bag full of cash belonged to a man named Sharafat Hussain who visited a registry office in Shahabad, according to a report by India Today. He is a Delhite and went to the registry office for some document work. With the bag full of money, he parked the bike nearby and began doing some work while sitting on a bench. He was so busy with all the accounts work that he did not realise the monkey attempting to steal his bag.

Soon The Situation Turned Quite Chaotic

It took some time for the Delhi man to understand what really happened to him. When he connected the dots and found out that this bag with ₹1 lakh has been stolen, the monkey simply ran away from there within that time. Many people present in the situation tried helping Sharafat by looking for the monkey. A lot of them began searching for it everywhere. After proper searching, they found the animal on a tree.

A lot of effort and hard work went on to get hold of the bag stolen by the monkey. In the end, Sharafat finally found his bag and the good news is that no money was lost in between all these hassles.

Cases of monkeys coming in between people and creating disturbances are increasing in many places as many forests have been cut down.
