Eid al-Adha is undoubtedly one of the most important festivals for Muslims around the world. And this year, it’s going to be a long weekend, as it is predicted that the UAE residents might get to enjoy a six-day weekend. So, many families are opting to take a short vacation during this holiday. And according to a research report by Skyscanner, it was revealed that 54% of the travellers in the UAE are looking for visa-free entry to destinations as an important factor. Here’s all you need to know about the travel trends among the people in UAE during the Eid al-Adha holiday.

What Are The Travel Trends In The UAE For Eid Al-Adha?

As the revered holiday approaches, people are planning to take a much-needed break from the monotony of their daily life. They’re doing so by using this long summer weekend to travel to a new city or even a new country. As it happens, according to the latest survey conducted by Skyscanner, 55% of UAE travellers are looking to travel to a place where they have never been before. In case you aren’t aware, Skyscanner is a platform that helps travellers to plan and book their trips with ease and confidence. Talking more about the travel trends, it was also found in the survey that around 54% of the travellers in the UAE are taking visa-free entry to the destination, as an important factor.

Moreover, if you are planning to utilise this long weekend to travel to a new country, then you are not alone as the poll also showed that 87% of the travellers in the UAE are planning to get away for this holiday. In fact, it also said that 65% of the UAE travellers mentioned that price is also an important factor and about 74% of the travellers are planning to take a trip with their family.
