In a bid to boost tourism, Morocco has now reopened its borders for travellers globally. While travelling to the Middle Eastern country is an option now, it’s a bit of a hassle to get through. How so? Well, Morocco has introduced strict entry restrictions and here’s everything you must know about it.

UAE Is On The B List Of Morocco, Travellers To Quarantine For 10-days On Arrival
The Moroccan Government has divided countries into two list- A and B. Visitors from A list countries do not need to quarantine on arrival and are just have to show their vaccine certificate or present a negative PCR test taken less than 48 hours before arrival. The List A countries are all member states of the UN with several exceptions- including the UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait. Yep, UAE is on the list B.

List B has 74 countries, and the UAE is one of them. Travellers coming from the B list countries will have to obtain an exceptional travel authorisation before arriving in the country. Furthermore, they have to present a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of arrival and undergo mandatory 10-day isolation, in an approved hotel, at their own expense. However, authorisation is not required for Moroccan nationals travelling from the B list countries.
Till When Will UAE Be On The B List?
Well, Morocco is opening in slowly, and the list will be updated every two weeks. So we have to wait for the next update to see if UAE makes it to the A list or not.

What All Is Open In Morocco At Present?
At present, cafes and restaurants are functional in Morocco- however, one needs to wear a mask by all means in public spaces. Temperature checks, separate entry and exit routes, etc., are in place to follow all the social distancing norms. Beaches, resorts, wellness centres, cinemas, theatres, parks, playgrounds, museums and cultural sites are also operational, but social distancing is a must, and masks are mandatory in common areas.
