Dubai is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city where people from diverse cultures come together to create a unique blend of traditions and modernity. It has become a second home to many expats who have been attracted by its glamour and luxury. From famous movie stars to renowned athletes, Dubai has become a popular travel destination for many celebrities. One such celebrity is Mouni Roy, who has fallen in love with the city and frequently visits it. She ended up spending seven months in Dubai, post-COVID and loves the people in Dubai and the food. Her knowledge of Dubai’s culture and history was impressive, and we were pleasantly surprised by her insights.
A Quiz With Mouni Riy To Test Her Dubai Knowledge
We hopped on a Dhow cruise to keep chit-chatting, and it was Mouni’s first time cruising on one. Dubai has some pretty cool slang words like ‘habibi,’ ‘yalla,’ and ‘walla.’ We asked Mouni, which slang words she knows or uses most from Dubai. She told us that she’s familiar with ‘habibti,’ ‘mashallah,’ and ‘inshallah.’ Mouni has acquired extensive knowledge during her time in Dubai, including small details such as parking fees. In fact, she even knew about Dubai items that cost between one and five Dirhams.
