Mount Abu Winter Festival
The Mount Abu Winter Festival is known to be celebrated as an ode to the rich history, culture, and heritage of the beautiful state of Rajasthan. This festival began as an initiative to offer all its citizens a break from their monotonous lives. This cultural festival is organised by the Municipal Board of Mount Abu and the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation.
This grand cultural event is actually an amazing opportunity for you to experience Rajasthan’s world-renowned warm hospitality in the state’s most pleasing and only hill station. Many classical and folk singers mesmerise visitors with their soulful voices and music. They also have various sports events organized, including a cricket match.

Celebrating Folk Dances Of India
For folk dance performances, the festival includes not only Rajasthan’s Ghoomar and Gair but also some from other states. At the grand festival, neighbouring states such as Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Punjab are also given a stage to showcase their folk specialities. They also have kite-flying and traditional sports events.
The festival begins at Hotel Shikhar with a grand procession that walks through various scenic spots and ends at Nakki Lake. The Nakki Lake is an important spot as many adventure activities like water sports and rowing take place here. The Mount Abu Winter Festival ends with a grand and beautiful firework display.
