The Delhi Traffic Police have released a comprehensive advisory for the Muharram processions scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. According to the Economic Times, significant traffic disruptions are expected, especially for bus services which will be terminated or diverted based on the processions’ movements. Smaller processions will also occur on the nights of July 16th and 17th.

- Tughlaq Road and Surrounding Areas: Buses will take a different route from the South End to Aurobindo Chowk, going through Max Mueller Marg, Lodhi Road, Bhishma Pitamah Marg, and then continuing southward.
- Impacted Roads: Mathura Road, Maa Anandmai Marg, Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, Road No. 56, Road No. 66, Pankha Road, Palam Dabri Road, Zakhira Flyover to Inderlok Metro Station, and Najafgarh Road.
- New Delhi Railway Station Access: Travellers should avoid Connaught Place and use routes leading to the Ajmeri Gate side via Tilak Marg, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg, or through Rajghat and Jawaharlal Nehru Marg.
- Traffic Management: Roads like Jama Masjid Road, Ajmeri Gate Road, Asaf Ali Road, Basant Road, and others will have regulated traffic from 12 pm to 9:30 pm.
