A proud Delhiite, Mukesh takes us on a food trail, starting with Rajma Chawal at Shankar Market’s Dhaba and enjoying tea and pakoras near Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. We also visit his beloved National School of Drama (NSD), where legends like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rajkummar Rao, and Kriti Sanon trained. Along the way, he shares insider stories about the stars and their journeys to fame.
The Projects That Define Mukesh Chhabra’s Career
While walking around the National School of Drama, he talks about how he grew up there and learnt everything he knows. Curious, we asked him about his five favourite casting projects that he is most proud of, and he says, “Bohot saare hain, teen sau mein se paanch toh chunna bohot mushkil hai.” However, he goes on to mention that, for him, the top ones would be Gangs of Wasseypur, Kai Po Che, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Super 30, Chillar Party, Delhi Crime, Black Warrant, Shahid, Scam, and Haider. He adds that there are many more, but he is proud of having done so much.

His Take On The New Talent Wave
While on the topic of films, he also gives his opinion on the rise of OTT platforms that have changed the game for many actors. Mukesh Chhabra is glad to see actors who once played small parts now landing lead roles on OTT. He says, “OTT ke wajah se bohot saare actors jo ek zamaane mein films mein bohot chote role karte the, ab woh OTT mein main lead mein kaam kar rahe hain.” He’s glad to see underdog actors gaining recognition.

In this episode, we also asked him about his experience of working with the three Khans on Dangal, Rang De Basanti, and Dunki. He revealed that all three of them are amazing actors in their own way and are incredibly hard-working.
