Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad Among The Fastest Growing Cities In The World: Report

A recent report has revealed that four of the top ten fastest-growing cities in the world are from India. What is more, almost all of the top ten list consists of cities in Asia. Savills Resilient City Index of 2024 has revealed this list of the fastest-growing cities. Here are all of the other important entails that you would need to know about this particular ranking list of fastest-growing cities in the entire world.

Four Of The Top Ten Fastest-Growing Cities Are Indian

According to an article which was recently published by The Indian Express or IE, as much as 50 per cent of the population is living in cities as of now. This figure is slated to inflate and reach 68 per cent soon as per the data provided by the United Nations or UN.

As per the list, the fastest-growing city in the world right now is Bengaluru in Karnataka. It bagged the top spot on the list. Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam bagged the second spot. Then, three other Indian cities bagged the following spot.

Delhi, the national capital of the country, came in as the third fastest-growing city in the world whereas Hyderabad bagged the fourth spot. In the fifth place was the financial capital of the country, Mumbai. Three cities on the list were from the People’s Republic of China, one from Vietnam and one from the Philippines.
