A major fire reportedly broke out recently at a municipal corporation depot in Nalasopara East. The shocking incident at this depot in the Sunshine area wreaked havoc and damaged several vehicles as well. Fire engulfed a few old buses kept at the location. Massive flames engulfed and destroyed six municipal corporation vehicles parked at the spot. According to a report by News9 LIVE, these vehicles were kept in the municipal depot collection and were not used for any particular purposes.

Fire brigade vehicles rushed to the location to douse the scary fire surrounding the municipal corporation depot in Nalasopara. After some time, they managed to bring the situation under their control. It was a hectic task to extinguish the fire at the spot and save the vehicles from further burns as it is a bustling and populated area. The team of firefighters involved in this particular process had to remain extremely cautious while trying to control the fire.

Residents living nearby were scared to hear explosive sounds from the spot. The concerned departments headed to the spot and evacuated as a preventive step. Their priority was to focus on people’s safety. According to a report by NDTV, the exact location made the headlines for a similar incident of buses catching fire about one and a half years ago. During this unfortunate occurrence, many vehicles were damaged.

Though the depot is under control at the moment and there have been no reports of people sustaining any injuries due to the fire and massive flames, the reason triggering the horrifying incident is unknown. Investigation processes have already started, and the concerned teams are working relentlessly to identify the cause behind the alarming fire incident at the municipal corporation depot in Mumbai’s Nalasopara East.
