Great news! The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRCL) announced on Wednesday that Metro Line 3 is now connected to the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). This integration will allow passengers to book QR-based tickets easily through various online consumer apps.

Mumbai Metro Line 3 Joins ONDC For Seamless Ticket Booking

As reported by The Indian Express, Mumbai Metro Line 3, also known as the Aqua Line, has joined the ONDC platform. Now, passengers can seamlessly book QR-based tickets through various online apps, eliminating the need to download any separate metro ticketing app or stand in long queues at metro stations.

The Aqua Line, which runs along the fully underground Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ corridor, will now support ticket bookings through apps like EaseMyTrip, RedBus, OneTicket, Tummoc, Yatri-City Travel Guide, Highway Delite, and even the Telegram-based Miles & Kilometres. These platforms are widely accessible and user-friendly, making them convenient to use for daily commuters.

Additionally, the OneTicket app allows integrated travel across Metro Lines 1, 2A, 7, and now Line 3, making it easier for passengers to take end-to-end journeys in the city through a single digital interface.
