At this point, food delivery apps like Zomato have become intricately woven into our day-to-day lives. Recently, someone took to their social media and shared how their roommate’s Zomato delivery agent attempted to offer them an additional “off-the-menu” service. The post, understandably went viral. So much so, that even Mumbai Police had a hilarious response! After their response, many said that their social media manager needs a raise! Here’s what you need to know about this particular rib-tickling incident!

Mumbai Police’s Funny Response To Zomato Delivery Agent Fiasco

In a now-deleted post shared on X (formerly, Twitter), a person shared a screenshot of messages sent to their roommate by their Zomato delivery agent. The messages were sent late at night around 2:30 AM. In the messages, the delivery agent said that they were close by and would soon reach the delivery address.

However, the agent further went on to ask if the person wanted anything more like “secret ganja.” They wrote it in Devanagari script and presumably meant cigarettes or weed. This unintentionally punny situation of the delivery agent offering “secret service” was already funny to many.

However, the social media handle of the Mumbai Police issued a hilarious response to the post. They reshared the post and said that they, for one, were very interested in meeting this delivery agent and that the roommate should give them the agent’s number. “WE’ED be happy to get in touch” read the post.

Both the post on X as well as on Instagram went viral and many took to the comment section and said that the social media handler of Mumbai police deserves a raise.
