In a shocking series of events, a total of nine people fell victim to a car crash that took place on the famous Bandra-Worli Sea Link in the city of Mumbai. Three of the nine people who were caught in the impact ended up dying. The other six are severely injured and are currently undergoing treatment. This particular tragic accident took place on the night of November 9, Thursday. According to an article recently published by NDTV, the accident took place around 10:15 PM. As per a police official cited in an article, a Toyota Innova was speeding towards Bandra and first crashed into a Mercedes. It then tried to flee the scene and sped up.
But in doing so, it ended up crashing into two or three more vehicles. It crashed into the Mercedes approximately 100 metres from the toll booth. The article reported that the accident claimed the lives of three people, two women and one man. The police official also went on to mention that two of the six people injured are in a very serious condition.

Tapan Joshi, a user on X (formerly known as Twitter), posted a few pictures on his social media. Based on his posts, it seems that his car, too was impacted but luckily, he managed to get out of the accident unscathed. The person who was responsible for the accident also suffered minor injuries. But they have been arrested and their car has been seized.

This is not the first time that there has been an accident on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. As a matter of fact, accidents have increased recently, as per the NDTV article. Late in October, police personnel in the Connaught Place area of Delhi met with a brutal accident. An SUV brutally rammed into a barricaded area where he was patrolling.
Earlier in October, a minibus collided with a container on the Samrudhhi Expressway or the Mumbai-Nagpur highway. In the accident, 12 people lost their lives while the other 23 people were brutally injured. The accident occurred at night around 12:30 AM near Vaijapur in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar District. According to reports, the driver lost control.
The bus ended up hitting the container from the rear side. The bus was coming from Buldhana in Maharashtra and the impact was so severe that it was badly crushed.
