The chatter was real, the leaks had everyone guessing, and now it’s finally official! Linkin Park is coming to India for the very first time. January 25, 2026, at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse is the date and place where decades of fandom meet the band live. As general tickets went on sale today at noon, fans didn’t just line up, they stormed BookMyShow’s site, sending Instagram comments flying: “How are tickets already gone?!”
Linkin Park Is Headed To Mumbai In 2026
The news follows a Bank of Baroda leak that had set the rumor mill spinning. But today, the band confirmed this news via a newsletter with the festival poster.
Mike Shinoda, co-founder of the group, said: “India has been somewhere we’ve wanted to play for a long time. Our fans there are incredibly passionate and we can’t wait to finally bring our live show to them.”
The Mumbai concert is part of the band’s From Zero World Tour, which has been reviving Linkin Park after years off the global stage. There’s a new energy to the lineup: vocalist Emily Armstrong, drummer Colin Brittain, and live guitarist Alex Federer join the band alongside its original members–Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, and Joe Hahn.
It’s a chapter born from grief and resilience, seven years after Chester Bennington’s death in 2017, fans are witnessing both remembrance and rebirth.
Mumbaikars, Are You Excited?
The band’s comeback album, From Zero, is riding high again. Touring the US, the record has even re-entered UK charts: No. 38 on the Official Vinyl Albums and No. 63 on the Official Physical Albums chart. That’s proof that Linkin Park’s music refuses to age quietly!
BookMyShow Live, the festival promoter, will unveil the full Lollapalooza India 2026 lineup on Friday at 9:30 AM , but with Linkin Park already locked in, it promises to be one of the festival’s most unforgettable editions.
Will tickets sell like a Coldplay concert gone viral? Only time will tell, but the frenzy already hints at a historic demand.
