Diana Penty Reveals What She Feels About Auditioning For Roles
While dining with the stars, Kamiya Jani asked Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty if they ever had to pitch themselves like they did as businesswomen on their show, Do You Wanna Parter. “Yeah! One of the forms to do it is an audition,” said Diana.
Diana reveals that many people do not like giving auditions. The Cocktail actress said, “But I find that so silly because it’s important for the maker to know your potential, what you can do, whether you are able to play the character, what he is expecting of you. It’s also important for you to know what the makers are expecting. I just think an audition is the best way to figure it out for both parties.

She Finds The Process Important
The actress also added that instead of regretting the role after getting it, auditions help both the filmmaker and the actor to understand each other’s requirements. To this, Tamannaah Bhatia emphasised that audition has its place in the film industry and it’s crucial. Well, like entrepreneurs, even actors need to pitch themselves. The difference is that the former do it in front of investors and the latter in front of filmmakers and casting directors.
