Mumbaikars! This is important! The Mumbai Traffic Police has now declared a 24-hour no-parking zone within 30 metres of the entry and exit gates of Mumbai Metro Line 3, also known as the Aqua Line. No Parking Allowed Near Gates Of Mumbai Metro Line 3 Stations
Parked vehicles were apparently the root cause of heavy congestion near the entry and exit gates of Mumbai Metro Line 3, also known as the Aqua Line. According to Mid-Day, Mumbai Police has now declared all 27 Mumbai Metro Aqua Line stations entry and exit gates as permanent 24-hour ‘no-parking zones’. No one will now be allowed to park their vehicles within 30 metres of these entry or exit gates. These stations are:

Reportedly, the decision has been taken so that passengers do not face inconvenience due to parked vehicles while entering or exiting the metro station.

Rule Aims To Improve Traffic Movement Around Metro Stations
This decision will also ensure smooth movement of traffic and better traffic management. According to the Free Press Journal, Mumbai Metro Line 3, or the Aqua Line, is a 33.5-km-long corridor which became operational for the public on October 9 last year. It runs between Cuffe Parade and Aarey Colony.
The metro line is highly efficient and connects key business districts, educational institutions, religious sites and major shopping hubs across the city. Since its launch, the metro line has been earning a lot of praise from Mumbaikars for being clean and fast. Alia Bhatt’s mom, Soni Razdan, recently took a ride on the Aqua Line and was clearly impressed by how cool it is.
