Turbulent flights can be scary and can cause any passenger onboard to panic. This is what happened with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, during her flight from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. She shared glimpses of the flight on her Instagram story and called it “the most turbulent flight ever”. Here’s what happened.
Kamiya Jani’s Flight Experiences Extreme Turbulence
Kamiya Jani was on her way from Ahmedabad to Mumbai when her flight experienced extreme turbulence mid-air. The videos uploaded by her on her Instagram story showed that the plane was shaking quite a bit while Kamiya sat there with a tense expression on her face. She wrote, “Taking this video as last evidence, just in case my phone survives, and I don’t. The most turbulent flight ever.”
In the next slide, Kamiya mentioned that the plane was supposed to land at Terminal 2 in Mumbai but had to land at Navi Mumbai Airport. The passengers were not allowed to get off, and the plane was not allowed to take off as well.

Multiple Attempts To Land
A fellow passenger who may have seen Kamiya’s story replied to the videos and wrote, “I am on this flight with you. It was scary, and it still continues.” Kamiya replied to her and said, “Oh, good luck. Let’s try landing again at Terminal 2. Attempt number 4.” It seems that the flight tried to land at Terminal 2 but failed multiple times.
Kamiya also mentioned that she could have brought her iPad to work on the flight since the plane was not landing. When a flight gets stuck in the air, passengers can only wait for updates and hope things get normal soon. She also said that she could not worry about something that was not in her control. Instead, she could have used the time to work.
