Temjen Imna Along is Nagaland’s Tourism & Higher Education Minister. He, recently, took to social media platform X and shared a quote on the state’s fresh air and environment. His tweet read that people living in air-conditioned places will never understand the concept of fresh air and peace.

The temperature in the state is going down to 18°C and the atmosphere is getting cooler. Netizens even agree with his statement by stating that Nagaland is blessed with natural beauty and a peaceful environment.

It is primarily a mountainous state with the Patkai Range, which forms the border with Burma, merging from the Naga Hills. The Doyang and Diphu Rivers in the north and the Barak River in the southwest cut through the entirety of the state. In fact, the state has a monsoon with significant levels of humidity.

Cold And Dry Climate Of The State

Certain areas of the state are frequently hit by severe cold and dry weather as winter approaches early. The highest recorded average temperature throughout the winter is 24°C. In the months of February and March, there are brisk northwest winds that sweep the state.
