Femina Miss India is one of the most coveted Indian pageants that has given us several industrious names. They have all gone and conquered their fields with ease and expertise. From Aishwarya Rai and Lara Dutta to Priyanka Chopra, Manushi Chhillar, and Sushmita Sen, they have all gone ahead and represented India on the international platform and even won some major international beauty pageants. So, as the Femina Miss India 2023 concluded, Nandini Gupta from Rajasthan was crowned Femina Miss India World 2023. Here is all about the pageant.

Nandini Gupta is a 19-year-old hailing from Kota, Rajasthan, and she took the crown home at this year’s Femina Miss India 2023. According to a report by Times Now, she was crowned by the former Miss India 2022 winner, Sini Shetty hailing from Karnataka. As a result, Nandini will now be representing India at the Miss World 2024 pageant! The 19-year-old opines that failures make it essential to define one’s identity. And as she sets out for a memorable journey, mindful of all the difficulties that will emerge, she is ready to face them with courage. As it happens, the star-studded event celebrated the ethos of beauty and there were several memorable performances as well!

It is worth mentioning that Shreya Poonja from Delhi was announced as the first runner-up, and was crowned by the former first runner-up Rubal Shekhawat of Rajasthan. While the former second runner-up Shinata Chauhan of Uttar Pradesh crowned Thounaojam Strela Luwang from Manipur as the second runner-up. In fact, 30 state winners participated in the event. Moreover, this was organised at the Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak in Imphal, Manipur. As such, The judges’ panel this year was graced by Femina Miss India Universe 2002 and mentor, Neha Dhupia, choreographer, Terrence Lewis, film director & writer, Harshavardhan Kulkarni, designers Rocky Star & Namrata Joshipura, and boxing icon Laishram Sarita Devi.
