NCM Predicts More Scattered Rainfall Across The UAE; Here’s What We Know

The National Centre of Meteorology has predicted that from today onwards until Monday, scattered rainfall may occur across the UAE. This comes as unsettled weather is expected in several areas. Here’s all you need to know about this weather-related development coming in from the UAE.

More Rain Expected Across The UAE?

According to the latest update, the NCM has predicted that there could be rainfalls at intervals that could affect various parts of the country. However, as mentioned in the report of the Gulf News, most of the rain expected are to be light to moderate. However, it can also turn heavy in some areas. As revealed by the NCM, these weather patterns reflect a shift towards a more unstable condition. With cloud buildup increasing over the coming days, it is advisable for residents to remain cautious, especially in areas that are prone to heavier rainfall.

What Is The Predicted Weather For The UAE?

As further revealed in the same report, these similar conditions are all expected on Friday and Saturday. There could be intermittent rainfall and freshening winds that could raise the dust and reduce visibility in the exposed areas. On Sunday, the cloud cover is expected to persist, and there could be chances for rainfall or stronger winds. Finally, by Monday, these conditions may remain partly cloudy with the possibility for light rain over eastern and Southern areas.

Particularly affecting travellers, they have been asked to plan the trips across the country, keeping possible disruption in mind. As predicted by the NCM, the unstable weather conditions could affect flight schedules and road conditions. However, alerts have also been issued for the impending storm that could affect key cities, including Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Fujairah. There can also be certain changes in road conditions and reduced visibility for motorists. So, travellers have been asked to anticipate delays or cancellations as the weather system develops.
